Piano Prodigies Lesson Swap Guidelines

Use the provided contact to swap lessons if you are faced with an upcoming schedule conflict, e.g. school field trip, medical appointment, sporting event. It is recommended that you communicate your need at least a week in advance.

Note: If transportation to a lesson is the primary issue, please let me know in advance and we can plan for an online lesson during your regularly scheduled lesson time.

Guidelines:
  • All exchanges must be done parent to parent. The teacher will not arrange changes for any student and students are never to arrange them for themselves.
  • The parent who requested the exchange is responsible for informing me of the switch (in writing - by email, cc'ing the other family). If the lesson swap is taking place in two or more weeks, please send a reminder to me and the other family the week of the lesson.
  • If possible, make the exchange with a student who has the same lesson length. If this is not possible, swap with a student who has a shorter lesson length. The student that is agreeing to the lesson exchange should receive a lesson length equal to or greater than their normally scheduled lesson.
  • There is no obligation to say yes to a swap request. Piano Prodigies families plan their schedules quite tightly with multiple activities, and it may be hard to switch to another day/time.
  • Please respect each other's privacy. The list is never to be used for any other purpose than the lesson swap. Those who do so will be removed from the exchange list privilege.

What Our Clients Are Saying

I can honestly give Elizabeth the credit for keeping my girls interested in piano lessons. All parents know about those transitional periods kids go through from Elementary school into the Middle school and High school years. Interests shift unless the lesson/subject is fresh. I find this applies to adults, too! Elizabeth grew up on the piano. She has the training, talent, expertise and passion to properly teach students. I have personally watched her develop her teaching skills. Her amazing personality keeps students focused, interested and learning. She's fun, loving, adorable and all around fantastic at what she does and who she is. - Lisa
