Rebecca Triggs Maggi received her Master of Musical Arts Degree in vocal performance from the University of Houston, where she studied under Elena Nikolaidi and continued her training in the San Francisco Bay Area with Donald Stenberg. She has performed throughout the Bay Area and nationally, singing leading roles with Sacramento Opera, West Bay Opera, Berkeley Opera, Opera San Jose, Fresno Lyric Opera Theater, Houston Grand Opera, Opera Peninsula, and the Gilbert and Sullivan Society of San Jose. Her European opera debut was in Cortona, Italy, followed by performances at the Festival dei Due Mondi in Spoleto, Italy. In concert, Ms. Maggi appeared with the Czech National Symphony Orchestra in Prague and Vienna. Other concert engagements include the Oakland Symphony Orchestra, University of California at Berkeley Symphony, Stanford Baroque Orchestra, Palo Alto Philharmonic Orchestra, and Earplay of San Francisco. She served as Director of Music at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Palo Alto, CA, from 1990 to 2020, and taught voice and piano extensively in the Bay Area for 32 years. Her piano students consistently received top marks in the California State Music Teacher’s Association (MTAC) piano exams. Since moving to New Hampshire, she has continued to share her love of music with young musicians through her work at Piano Prodigies.

What Our Clients Are Saying

I can honestly give Elizabeth the credit for keeping my girls interested in piano lessons. All parents know about those transitional periods kids go through from Elementary school into the Middle school and High school years. Interests shift unless the lesson/subject is fresh. I find this applies to adults, too! Elizabeth grew up on the piano. She has the training, talent, expertise and passion to properly teach students. I have personally watched her develop her teaching skills. Her amazing personality keeps students focused, interested and learning. She's fun, loving, adorable and all around fantastic at what she does and who she is. - Lisa
